Dr. Marc Weber, Vice President Portfolio Management Software Platform, leads the Software Defined Vehicle portfolio at Vector. Together with his team, he is responsible for shaping Vector’s SDV strategy, with a strong focus on scalable platform foundations, complexity management and enabling faster, more predictable vehicle software development. His work centers on translating industry challenges around integration, validation, and cross domain architectures into coherent SDV solutions. After graduating in Software‑Based Automotive Systems from the University of Applied Sciences Esslingen, Marc joined Vector in 2011. He completed his doctorate under Prof. Sax at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in 2019, where his research focused on using AI for in-vehicle intrusion detection/cybersecurity.
